Update on Courts

The following towns have lined some of their tennis courts for pickleball this summer.
  • Atlantic Highlands – Harbor Courts (3 using the tennis net)
  • Middletown, Normandy Park and Tindall Park (6 total at each, 4 with portable nets, 2 with tennis nets)
  • Little Silver, Santells’ Park, Riverview Ave.  (2 with tennis nets)
A group of Ambassadors and players are still pursuing getting dedicated lit pickleball courts. We will keep everyone posted on our progress.

This Weekend Local Pickleball Happenings

  • Saturday, September 7th, 1:00 – Atlantic Highlands Harbor – soft ribbon cutting for the dedication of resurfaced tennis courts which are lined for pickleball. USAPA Ambassadors and players will play a demo game and introduce the sport to new players.
  • Saturday, September 7th, 6:00 – Oceanport Day – Blackberry Bay – USAPA Ambassadors and players will put on a demo game and help introduce the sport to new players.
Everyone is invited to come out and support the events. Wear your pickleball clothes so you can get on the courts and play.

Beginner Lessons

There will be a beginner’s pickleball clinic at Manhasset Creek Park in Long Branch starting Thursday, Sept.12th, from 5:00-6:30. It will be open to all residents from all towns.  Please spread the word to any of your friends that might want to learn this fun, addicting sport.
