February is American Heart Month❤️❤️❤️ and is a perfect time for all pickleball players to sign up for a CPR/AED class! There will be a course offered through the American Heart Association for pickleball players at Tower Hill Church in Red Bank on Monday, February 25 from 6:00 to 8:30.
The cost is $25 to take the course and $40 if you need a certification card. Please register by February 19 by emailing pickleballkimmy@gmail.com. Please bring cash or a check that evening to the class.

Twenty-five players took the course in the fall and they were all so grateful that they did. Please learn this life-saving skill, as you never know when you might need to use it.
Besides learning how to administer CPR and how to use an AED you should also check with your venue or park to make sure that they have an AED. If they do not, please take steps for them to get one. There are weatherproof boxes for the AED’s and a lot of the parks have them, so please make sure that there is one where you are playing. There are also grants available to help fund AEDs. Make a commitment to your pickleball buddies, friends and family that this February you’ll take time to get trained in this life-saving skill!
