The last week of August is upon us and while not official, this represents the last week of Summer for many people.
Last week of Free play a Y
Just a reminder that starting Friday, September 1, that you will have to pay a drop in fee, or register for one of the Y’s programs to play at the Community YMCA. See the program options here
Fall Leagues & Lessons
It would seem that the sign-up sheets have gone missing. If you’re interested in fall leagues and/or lessons at the Y. Please go inside and inquire at the front desk.
Tip of the Week
Every week, I try to share tips that will help you whether a beginner or advanced player. To me, one of the biggest challenges with so much open play is that you play with a lot of different people. If everyone understands where they are supposed to be on the court, it reduces the opportunities for the opponents.
If you’ve come across a tip that you think will help everyone. Send it my way and I’ll include it in a future TWIP update.
This Week’s Poll
Last week’s results
According to last weeks poll, we are fairly evenly split between preferring to play in the morning vs. playing in the evening. Interestingly enough, nobody preferred to play in the afternoon. I wonder if that’s because it’s nap time.
