As reported in the Middletown Patch on July, 17, Middletown is looking to resurface 8 of the 16 tennis courts and add pickleball lines in Tindall Park in New Monmouth (by Middletown North HS). They are also looking to resurface and add pickleball lines to both tennis courts in Hillside Park in Navesink. The lines will be a different color in order to differentiate between the sports.
While there is no timeframe given for this activity, it was encouraging to read:
“Pickleball has become increasingly popular in Middletown, and we have received numerous requests for pickleball courts from our residents,” “We have heard their wishes and are happy to look to provide these facilities for our community.”
