Swing Pink is an upcoming fundraiser at the Navesink Country Club on Monday, Sept. 24th. Organizers are seeking additional pickleball players for the morning’s tournament. The tournament is intended to be a fun, social event. Both men and women are encouraged to participate. You can find information about the event below. Please contact Kim Smith with any questions or comments.

The newly formed Leon Hess Cancer Center Council is excited to present to you the fourth annual Swing Pink. We hope you can join us for a fun-filled morning of your chosen sport followed by our luncheon. If you can’t make the morning sporting events, tickets for the luncheon are available. This year we will lunch and laugh with comedian Kristen Eyles.

The Leon Hess Cancer Center Council unites the longstanding philanthropic groups, The Women of Wilentz and The Women’s Council. Together, these dedicated volunteers have raised more than SIX MILLION DOLLARS to benefit The Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center, the region’s only facility designated as an Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.  The Leon Hess Cancer Center Council raises funds and awareness to support programs and state-of-the-art equipment for patients during cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward the purchase of the Holgic Selenia2Dmammography unit, which provides patients with a low-dose digital expose and excellent image quality.
