Happy Monday everyone. Well, seems that the snow may thwart any outdoor play for a few days and the weather is iffy for most of the week.

The most important thing is to be careful when playing outdoors. Small patches of ice can form and provide for extremely dangerous conditions. As an alternative, always check the calendar for the latest open play times.

With the holidays approaching, I wanted to let everyone know that this will be the last TWIP for 2017. We’re busy getting ready ourselves and are also going to spend some quality time on the slopes (let it snow, let it snow, let it snow).

I hope you and your families have a safe, healthy and happy holiday. I’m very excited for 2018 and expect the amount of pickleball to continue to grow at a very fast pace.

Colts Neck Tournament – Photos Wanted!!!

I’m still gathering all of the details about the tournament. Look for a post on the tournament to come out tomorrow. One statistic that I wanted to share is there were over 200 games played. Thanks to the team at Colts Neck for a fantastically run tournament. Thanks for all of the time and effort!

In the meantime, I have created an album on Google Photos of all the pictures I took on Saturday. This album is set up so that you can add your own pictures to the album so this way we have a collaborative album of all the pictures of the event. Please take a few minutes and upload any pictures you’ve taken so that we can get as many different perspectives as possible.

The link to the album is: https://photos.app.goo.gl/deP51WYz9ImnsL0l1

To add photos, simply click the icon of the photo with the + sign in the upper right corner of the page.

For those of you that are uploading from mobile devices, it’s easiest to upload photos directly from the Google Photos App

Tip of the week

This week’s tip is on dinking. These 3 techniques will definitely help improve your shots.

This week’s Poll

Look for the poll to come back in 2018!

Last Weeks Poll

Last week’s poll shows that most people are willing to travel up to 30 minutes for a good game, while close behind that many would go as far as an hour for a good game of pickleball. We will need to keep this in mind as new venues come online in the Spring.
