The Community YMCA has delayed the start of their leagues by 1 week to give people the opportunity to sign up. The rest of the information is the same. For more information refer to the original post:

Community YMCA – League Information

I know there are a number of questions regarding the leagues (and open play availability). I will do my best to keep everyone updated.

Questions that I’ve been asked that I’m trying to find answers to:

  • Do I need to have a partner to sign up? No, the Y will assign partners if you don’t have one.
  • Will the courts be available for open play during league times (Tues & Thurs)?
  • Is there a “beginners” league? Not at this time.
  • How exactly will the leagues work? (teams of 2, teams of x or, something else?)

If you have other questions, please add a comment below and I will work with Barry & TJ from the Y to get them answered.

PS: Apologies to everyone who received an email addressed to someone else. There was an upgrade that introduced this bug. I hope it will be resolved before next Monday’s weekly update.

Would prefer to rotate partners than to play with same partner.
